A 406MHz Australian made EPIRB with water and manual activation.

This EPIRB can be mounted in a boat and it is activated just by taking it from its mounting bracket and immersing it in water. It can also be manually activated if required. It features world wide coverage and position location accuracy to within 5 kms. When activated, it sends out vital information including the country of beacon registration and identification of your EPIRB. An auxiliary homing transmitter is included to enable suitably equipped Search and Rescue vessels to home in on the distress beacon.
