A 406MHz Australian made EPIRB with manual activation.

It features world wide coverage and position location accuracy to within 5 kms. When activated, it sends out vital information including the country of beacon registration and identification of your EPIRB. An auxiliary homing transmitter is included to enable suitably equipped Search and Rescue vessels to home in on the distress beacon.
